Can I track my order while it is in transit?

When your order ships, you'll get a tracking number either by email or text (depending on what info you gave when you checked out).
We also send text messages when your order is scanned by a USPS mail carrier, is out for delivery and has been successfully delivered, if you've signed up for text message correspondence from us at checkout.

Can you omit the packing slip?
No. We include packing slips in all of our shipments, no exceptions.

How long does it take to ship my order?
We typically ship orders the same day or the next (unless otherwise noted, any product shipping delays are advertised in the product description).
Order placed Monday through Friday before 2 pm ET ship same day.
You receive an email or SMS text message when your order ships.
All orders are processed in the order in which they are received.
Most orders are received within 5 business days. There may be shipping delays once your package is with the USPS, unfortunately, this is out of our control and we must wait for the USPS to scan the package and make updates.
How much is shipping?
Shipping costs vary based on weight and shipping destination. You'll find your shipping rate when you checkout.
And shipping is free via USPS for orders of $100 or more.
I never received my order. What can I do?
Email us directly at help@drinkflyest.com and we can take care of it. Please note that we do not refund, re-ship or replace TRVPCHNV™ or other orders shipped via USPS with Signature Confirmation.
When placing your order, please make sure that you are available to sign for your package to ensure its receipt.
Once packages are signed for, we must consider them delivered as this is our only means of verifying delivery.
USPS says my order was delivered, but I don't have it.
We use USPS to ship all orders.
Sometimes, the USPS delivers packages to the wrong address or marks packages delivered, but you don't have it at your doorstep. Please allow 48 hours post delivery email for your package to arrive. If you don't have your item within 2 days of delivery confirmation email, please reach out to us with your order number and the email address you used to place your order. We will re-ship your package, but you will be required to sign for the package to confirm delivery. A package that is signed for will be treated as delivered by USPS. No exceptions.
What are your general shipping policies?
Missing Orders
Sometimes the USPS loses packages. Please note that the delivery of First-Class Mail is intentionally slowed by the USPS. First-Class Mail shipments take about 8 days for delivery. Please consider this when tracking your order. Priority Mail is more expensive, but it is delivered more quickly, typically 4 business days. If your order has been marked as delivered and you don't have it, please wait 48 hours for your package to arrive. You should also check with any neighbors and your leasing office. If you've taken these steps and your order still has not shown up, file a complaint with the USPS and email us directly at help@drinkflyest.com with the case number and we will resend the package, but you will be required to sign for the package. Once your package is signed for, we consider it delivered. If your package is shipped with signature confirmation, once it is signed for and delivered, we consider the package delivered to the proper address. We do not re-ship, refund or replace orders signed for by signature confirmation.
Packaging
We ship orders via USPS and UPS. Orders shipped with free shipping are mailed via USPS First Class Mail. Orders are shipped in cardboard boxes or plastic polymailer bags depending on the contents.
Packing Slips
We include packing slips in all of our shipments, no exceptions. Packing slips do not contain any payment information or pricing. Packing slips do show who purchased the items, the contents of the packaging, and any notes included at checkout.
Shipping Dates
If your order is shipped via USPS, your order will be shipped same day Monday through Friday if your order is placed by 2 pm ET. You receive an email or SMS text message when your order ships. Shipping rates for all of our items are weight-based, shipping varies based on the weight of your order based on its contents.
All orders of $50 or more shipped by USPS are shipped with signature confirmation. When your order is signed for, we consider it delivered, and we do not refund, replace or re-ship orders that have been signed for. We offer free USPS shipping on all orders over $100.
Orders are shipped via USPS. Orders shipped to the wrong address will not be refunded or replaced. Please double check your shipping address before completing the transaction. We ship to military bases and PO boxes via USPS. Every shipment to an APO/FPO/DPO needs the recipient's name, rank, unit, and APO/FPO/DPO address with a 9-digit zip code. Most orders are received within 5 business days. There may be shipping delays once your package is with the USPS, unfortunately, this is out of our control and we must wait for the USPS to scan the package and make updates.
Stolen Packages
If you have experienced missing packages in your neighborhood/apartment complex/building, etc., please let us know via email. When you order, you can leave a note requesting signature confirmation with the delivery of your package. We offer free signature confirmation to you at no cost to you as a customer. We're a small business - it is easier and more cost effective for us to make sure that your package is delivered to you the FIRST time and we will do our part to make that happen.
Tracking

Wrong Address
We do not make any changes to shipping addresses after orders are placed. If you recognize that your order has been shipped to the wrong address after the order has already shipped, unfortunately, there is nothing we can do at that time. Oftentimes, the USPS returns undeliverable packages to us. Once we receive the package, then we will issue a store credit minus any shipping fees. Please double check your billing and shipping address before you complete checkout.
What is free shipping?
When you choose free shipping or receive free shipping because of your minimum order purchase, your items will be shipped First Class Mail. No exceptions.
Free shipping is valid on USPS First-Class Mail packages only. Free shipping applies to automatically calculated shipping rates that are $10 or less, unless otherwise noted.
We never offer free USPS Priority Express Mail as a shipping option and shipping rates that calculate as more than $10, unless otherwise noted, will not be eligible for free shipping rates.

We ship from our warehouse in Lanham, Maryland.
Where is my package?
If you've received a tracking number, then your package was placed in our mailing room for the mail carrier.
The USPS mail carrier picks up packages Monday through Friday between 2:30 pm and 4:00 pm ET.
If you've received a tracking number then your order is on its way to you and you must wait for a USPS carrier to scan the package and update its tracking information in the system.
We do not issue tracking numbers without shipping packages. Ever.
Can you combine my orders?
No. Orders placed separately will be shipped separately to ensure accuracy on our end.
Are your products save for pregnant women?
We don't really encourage any pregnant women to drink herbal teas, but there are some herbs that are safe during pregnancy. Always talk with your doctor before drinking any herbal teas.
Are your teas edible?
Uhhh...no?
The tea leaves are already dried, adding hot water to them releases other medicinal benefits, however, there is no logical reason to eat dried tea leaves.
It is safe to drink the tea made from tea leaves.
It is safe to eat the leaves at the bottom of the cup in moderation.
People avoid eating tea leaves because they're difficult to digest, don't really taste good and have a weird texture/consistency.
Are your teas organic?
Most times, yes.
We prioritize sourcing ingredients from small/minority/woman-owned farms and some of the ingredients are organic.
Can children drink tea?
Yes. Take precautions and watch your child when handling hot beverages.
Honey should not be given to children under 1 year of age.
Do teas expire?
You should drink your teas within one year.
After one year, they will become less flavorful.
Do your products have additives?
Some of our products feature natural flavors or extracts.
Natural flavors are safe flavors made from real ingredients to enhance the flavor and fragrance in some of our teas and honey. The extracts are careful extractions of rinds or roots made from alcohol, water and oil or glycerin.
We include a very small percentage of natural flavors or extracts in products, typically between 3% and 5% of the product includes any natural flavor or extract.

How do I store tea?
Keep teas stored in their original packaging, away from the sunlight.
If you do store your teas in light or glass jars, please store them in a cabinet or dark/cool place. Or be prepared to use them quickly.
How do I make loose leaf tea?
It's super easy!
Our products come with brewing instructions, too. We wouldn't throw you to the wolves like that.
Is loose leaf tea really better than bagged tea?
YES! YES! YES! (That's a wrestling reference).
Ivy's Tea Co. teas consist of whole tea leaves and you can taste the difference.
When a tea leaf is left whole, it is allowed to unfold and change color in water when brewed.
Store bought tea bags usually consist of the grit, or dust, because the tea leaves are ground up to get them to fit into the tea bag.
Loose leaf teas are actually inexpensive compared to bagged teas.
You can brew more than one cup of tea from loose leaves, while a tea bag is typically good for only one cup of great tea.
With Flyest, you get tea that is of the best quality and taste while supporting your health.
Where do you source your teas?
Everywhere and nowhere.
We can't give away our secret recipes - you know we've got copycats.
We can say, though, that we source all of our ingredients from a variety of farms across the country.
We prioritize working with small, minority, and/or woman-owned farms as well as co-ops for herbs.
All of our teas are hand blended in-house by us.
Why don't you make __ tea?
All of our blends are unique and original. You can't find them anywhere else...that's why you keep coming back. Okkrtt?!

We're just doing a new thing and it's pretty dope. We sell herbal teas and that's that for us.
Why should I drink herbal tea?
Herbal teas are designed to provide your body with the nutrients and minerals it needs to perform at its best.
Our teas feature tussives, bitters, and other constituents that are important to cellular regeneration, digestive health, or even cleansing the blood.
Many of us don't get the minerals that would help us in these areas simply because we don't always eat the best foods possible.
It's very easy to get these minerals by drinking them.
Flyest saves the day by providing these minerals with a tasty flavor profile.
Do you use plastic packaging?
Our packaging is made of plastic printed with soy ink.
Our honey jars are glass.
We do use some plastic to protect our packages.

We ship TRVPCHNV™, #TRAPTEA® Spoons, and orders of $50 or more with signature confirmation.
Signature confirmation is the only way that we can ensure delivery to the shipping address.
Once orders are signed for, we consider them delivered. If your order is signed for by the wrong person or delivered to the wrong address, you should contact the USPS and file a police report.
Lost, stolen or packages delivered to the wrong address are not our responsibility.
Ensure that you're available to receive your package by having packages held at the post office or make sure you are at the shipping address when your items are delivered.
My package is being returned to your warehouse. What can I do?

When are you open?
Flyest is a very lean team.
We make teas, pack orders, and ship all from one location. To maintain optimum productivity, we check emails four times per day. We do respond to messages daily, but there are some times when we're "closed," even though our e-commerce store is still available.
When we are closed, we do not ship orders or allow for curbside pickup. We respond to customer inquiries via email, however, those responses may be slow as we will check email only once per day.

Who is the founder?
Flyest is owned and operated by first-generation herbalist and Tea Bae, Shanae Jones.
Shanae is a graduate of Bowie State University, where she studied English Literature with a focus on Africana Studies and Multi-Ethnic Literature with a concentration in graphic memoirs. Seems like a weird route to take to get to entrepreneurship, but identity has always been a passion of hers.
In 2016 she won the Buy from a Black Woman Business Grant and she used to the funds to start year one of an herbal apprenticeship to learn more about plant medicine and herbal remedies. That same year, she officially launched Ivy's Tea Co, now Flyest.
Pairing her love of Hip-Hop culture with her newfound love of plant medicine, she transformed Flyest into the Hip-Hop inspired tea company you see today. With her products, Shanae is changing the way you see tea drinkers and then get you to drink more tea.
When she is not blending teas or infusing honeys, she's probably at the nail salon - nails gotta stay fly.
